The President of the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the Ambassador of Russia to BiH, Igor Kalabukhov, opened the Office of the Russian Embassy in Banja Luka today.
The President Milorad Dodik emphasized that the Russian Federation is a politically like-minded partner of Srpska, which sees in Russia a fair side of today’s times and history.
“I consider President Vladimir Putin not only a great leader but also a national treasure of Russia. He loves his people, but also other people”, said the President Dodik.
The President Dodik highlighted that the President Putin today, as always, stands for peace, but a peace that entails defending national and state interests.
The President Dodik stated that the opening of the Office of the Russian Embassy is an important moment for the Republic of Srpska, the result of great efforts and dedication of Srpska and Russia, for which he thanked the President Putin, the Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov, and the Ambassador of Russia to BiH Igor Kalabukhov.
At the ceremonial event, the Ambassador Kalabukhov addressed the audience, and the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov addressed via video link.
