The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, has visited today the production facilities of the Footwear Factory “Dermal” in Kneževo and Kotor Varoš, which would mark twenty years of successful work this year.


The footwear factory “Dermal” employs 1230 workers and places 85% of its production on the European market.


After visiting the facility in Kotor Varoš, the Prime Minister Radovan Višković said that the Footwear Factory “Dermal” was an example of successful company management, and that satisfied workers were a true indicator of good and successful work.


The Prime Minister Višković pointed out that the Government of the Republic of Srpska would always provide support to such and similar companies, since their development also significantly contributed to the development of the economy of the Republic of Srpska.


“The number of workers that this company employs is something that should be respected, as well as the fact that salaries are above average compared to other companies in this industry, and today we have had the opportunity to hear that there is a need for additional employment”, said the Prime Minister Radovan Višković.


The Prime Minister Višković wished the owner and director of the factory, Radenko Bubić, a happy jubilee - 20 years of existence and work, and expressed satisfaction that the support had been also provided by EU partners doing business with “Dermal”.


“This company also invested and employed workers in the years of the corona virus epidemic, and that is a great success”, said the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska.


The Prime Minister Radovan Višković stated that the Government of the Republic of Srpska, in the previous period, saved this industry and enabled it to develop with certain measures and benefits for companies operating in the field of leather and textile processing.
