The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, has met today in Banja Luka with representatives of the German company “Mubea” which was one of the world leaders in production of components for the automotive industry.
During the meeting with Christian Carius, the Head of Corporate Development at this German company, the Prime Minister pointed to advantages of the Republic of Srpska offered to foreign investors interested in opening export-oriented production capacities.
The Prime Minister informed the representatives of “Mubea” company that the Republic of Srpska provided a stimulative business environment, emphasizing that, in addition to low energy prices, the foreign investors could count on a number of other benefits, including those provided by the Law on Incentives. Mr. Christian Carius said that they were currently considering plans for a large potential investment in the area of Republic of Srpska in the field of automotive industry and that a respective decision would be made by the end of this year.
The Prime Minister Višković pointed out that several world-known companies in this industry already successfully operated in the Republic of Srpska and that some of them, such as the German company “PASS”, intended to expand their business by opening new factories in the field of automotive industry in the territory of the Republic of Srpska.
