At the commemoration of the murdered head of the Criminal Police Sector of the Prijedor Police Administration, Radenko Bašić, the Prime Minister Višković said that the Republic of Srpska and the city of Prijedor would never forget him, as well as his family, and that institutions would do everything to find the assassins.


“Owing to his closest ones, his wife and two children, and owing to Prijedor, which today mourns its esteemed fellow citizen, the capacities of the competent institutions have been engaged to discover the assassins of an innocent man”, said the Prime Minister Višković at a commemorative gathering in Prijedor.


The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, pointed out that Bašić’s tragic departure was an irreparable loss for his loved ones, but also for his Prijedor, a city he protected and guarded by performing police job and tasks responsibly and professionally until the last day.


“Radenko dedicated his entire professional career to the fight against crime, and that is why the Republic of Srpska and Prijedor would never forget him or his family”, said the Prime Minister Višković.


He added that Bašić was a policeman and a notable man, dedicated to his family and the job he loved immensely, and that his life and work would be remembered only for the good and everything he did.


“His professional engagement will serve future generations as an example of the work of an honest, honorable, uncompromising police officer who dedicated his life to the fight against crime and never gave up a sinle step in that fight”, said the Prime Minister Radovan Višković.


Extending his condolences to the family, the Prime Minister Višković expressed the pride of all that Bašić had been a member of the Republic of Srpska Police and said that his kindness and nobility would never be forgotten.
