The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, has met today in Banja Luka with Christopher Sheldon, the World Bank Country Manager for BiH and Montenegro.

During the meeting, the current activities on the implementation of current projects with the World Bank from several spheres and the entering into negotiations on potential new projects were discussed. 

As it was emphasized, at the beginning of next year, the implementation of several agreed projects in cooperation with the World Bank would begin, including the one related to the support of the health sector. Also, mutual readiness to continue the process of restructuring the Railways of the Republic of Srpska was expressed, as well as the project related to real estate registration.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, expressed the expectation that furthermore the implementation of already agreed projects with the World Bank regarding support for new employment, raising the energy efficiency of public infrastructure facilities, water supply and flood protection, as well as support for small and medium-sized companies, would start next year. 

The Prime Minister Višković thanked the Head of the World Bank Office for his support hitherto, and emphasized that he expected this cooperation to continue in the next period, with the implementation of already contracted projects.
