The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković has met in Trebinje today with the Director of the Swisslion-Takovo Business System, Rodoljub Drašković. It was concluded at the meeting that all activities would be undertaken with the aim of preserving the Tool Industry.
The Prime Minister Višković stated that it was agreed to reconcile the accounts of the Investment and Development Bank, the Tax Administration of the Republic of Srpska with the management of the Tools Industry and to form an expert team of economists and lawyers who would find a legal solution according to the international accounting standards that would be acceptable both for the Tool Factory and the Government.
“It is my obligation to unleash the property that the Tax Administration holds as a mortgage over the Tool Industry in Trebinje. I am ready that we do that quickly. The part that is interesting for new investments should be resolved urgently and mortgages should be removed in order to continue investing and implementing ideas”, the Prime Minister Višković said and added that Drašković trusted the Government and the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister pointed out that he appreciated the fact that Drašković’s company had 15,000 employees in Swisslion-Takovo Business System throughout the countries of former Yugoslavia and that the arrival of this businessman in Republic of Srpska should impress everyone.
He stated that Drašković was the biggest investor in this part of the Republic of Srpska and that is why he deserved his attention, just like 500 workers in the Tool Industry.
“We will do everything to put the Tool Industry on the path which would enable it to develop more as soon as possible, to build new capacities and employ new people”, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, said.
The President of the Swisslion-Takovo Business System, Rodoljub Drašković, stated that it had been agreed with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, that an expert team would find a solution for the Tool Industry in Trebinje according to international standards, and that he trusted the Prime Minister.
Draškovic added that they agreed that within three months, the expert team of economists and lawyers of Srpska and the Swisslion-Takovo Business System would compile accounts and provide solutions for the Tool Industry in Trebinje.
“The Tool Industry has its working capital and contracted jobs a year in advance but cannot reach the production the world market is looking for. The tool industry is 97 percent export-oriented. It is necessary to get the mortgages off the property so that I can build new plants and equipment, and that the Tool Industry Trebinje becomes the leading company in Europe for the production of tools”, Drašković said.
He added that the plan was to hire new workers in the metal part of the Swisslion-Takovo Business System, but that he must have security.
