The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik met today at the Palace of the Republic with the Minister of Industry of Belarus Alexander Rogozhnik.

The President highlighted the significance of today’s signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation in Agriculture, which pertains to supporting the introduction of new technologies in agricultural production and the procurement of new machinery, which farmers from Srpska will be able to obtain under favorable conditions.

The President Dodik also welcomed the progress in preparing an intergovernmental agreement on business and technical cooperation, expected to be signed by the governments of the Republic of Srpska and Belarus in the near future.

The meeting also addressed the continuation of implementing contracts signed during the visit of the Republic of Srpska delegation to Belarus in February, which the President Dodik characterized as highly successful.

The President Dodik expressed special gratitude to the state leadership of Belarus, led by the President Alexander Lukashenko, for understanding the position of the Republic of Srpska and expressed confidence that relations between the Republic of Srpska and Belarus, based on strong friendship and mutual trust, will be further enhanced.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management of the Republic of Srpska Savo Minić, Belarusian Ambassador to BiH based in Budapest Vladimir Ulakhovich, and Honorary Consul of Belarus in BiH Nedeljko Elek.
