The President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, has attended a special session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in Belgrade today, at which the elected President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, took the oath.

The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that this was a great and solemn day for Serbia, but also for the Republic of Srpska, stating that there would be many more challenges and that she believed that Serbia would continue to be the most important support to Srpska.

The President Cvijanović added that she was grateful to the President Vučić, who in his speech had referred in a special way to the Republic of Srpska and Serbia’s cooperation with the Republic of Srpska, as well as Serbia and Srpska’s mutual care and understanding.

The President of the Republic wished Serbia to progress and to continue the committed work as in previous years, due to the government of the President Vučić.

The President Cvijanović stated that the presence of the Serb member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik, the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Nedeljko Čubrilović and President of the Republic of Srpska at the inauguration in this capacity spoke enough about how much Serbia and Republic of Srpska relied on each other.
