The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik has attended today the ceremonial opening of the building of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Srpska.

The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that the Republic of Srpska was awaiting a critical analysis of everything that had happened in the past 27 years since the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement, and the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Srpska would play an important role in this.

“The constitutional order has been devastated and is not in accordance with the international agreement. We must not remain silent on the legal violence of the international factor”, said the President Dodik.

The President of the Republic assessed that the coming time would be the time of affirmation of rights.

“The time behind us is a complete affirmation of injustice. As the President of the Republic, respecting your independence in terms of work and expertise, I will be in a position to ask you for feedback on many issues that happened in the past, so that we can have as much knowledge as possible about all of this”, said the President of Srpska.

The President Dodik pointed out that the opening of the new building of the Constitutional Court was a victory for Srpska, which had demonstrated its ability to build a representative facility as this judicial institution deserved.

“It is the highest independent legal institution, which protects the constitution, the constitutional order, and we must have great confidence in it. We treat the Republic as a fact of permanent character that should have visible, representative and recognizable facilities of the most important institutions”, emphasized the President of the Republic.

The President of Srpska expressed contentment that the Republic of Srpska enabled the employees of the Constitutional Court to work in good conditions, and added that he expected dedicated work to preserve the constitution and constitutional order.
