The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković has met today, via a video link, with Mark Bowman, the Vice President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). During the meeting, it was emphasized that both sides remained committed to the development of new projects, including, in particular, those involving new infrastructure operations in the field of road and railway infrastructure. The Prime Minister Radovan Višković informed the EBRD representatives about the Government’s intention to establish a unit overseeing the work of public companies, emphasizing that cooperation with the EBRD and the World Bank could be continued in new stages of development of this project. The EBRD Vice President Mark Bowman pointed out that the board of this financial institution determined a new strategy for BiH, with the following priorities - strengthening the role of the private sector, improving infrastructure and diversifying existing energy sources.
Предсједник Владе Радован Вишковић упознао је представнике ЕБРД-а са намјером Владе да успостави јединицу над надзор над радом јавних предузећа, истичући да би сарадња са ЕБРД-ом и Свјетском банком могла бити настављена и новим фазама развоја овог пројекта.
Потпредсједник ЕБРД-а Марк Бaуман указао је да је одбор ове финансијске институције утврдио нову стратегију за БиХ, са сљедећим приоритетима – јачању улоге приватног сектора, унапређење инфраструктуре и диверзификацију постојећих енергетских извора.
