The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović and the Serb Member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik have attended today the student conference “Thirty years since the foundation of the Republic of Srpska and the University of East Sarajevo”, held at the Faculty of Economics in Pale.

The President of Srpska stated that the greatest asset of the Republic of Srpska was young people who want to stay in Srpska and never lose interest in its position and constitutionality.

The President of the Republic pointed out that young people understand the processes happening in Srpska and the region, but the global processes as well

“Therefore, they have never lost interest in what the position of the Republic of Srpska is, its constitutionality, the way how to upgrade certain things and move in the future”, said the President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic of Srpska expressed contentment for having the opportunity to participate in this conference, and pointed out that the students’ interest in the Republic of Srpska were very impressive – in its origin, creation, duration, and facing and solving many problems and challenges that Srpska had to cope with during the past 30 years of its existence.

“I am glad about the fact that students perceive it in a way that it is talked about our past from the present aspect, but also that we are equally focused on the future. That we should draw some parallels with certain things and ambitions that we have set before us as a set goal”, it was emphasized by the President of the Republic.

The President of Srpska expressed satisfaction that the University of East Sarajevo is participating in the organisation of today’s conference, where opinions and experiences can be exchanged.
