Today, the President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, has laid a wreath on the Square of Fallen Soldiers of the National Liberation War, on the occasion of the Day of the City of Banja Luka.

The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that Banja Luka today marked the great victory won 77 years ago, when it had been liberated from fascism.

“That is the day when we started living a new life, full of freedom, which we started to appreciate more and more after that. Celebrating certain important things from the past, but also marking such important dates and connecting them with what we want to do in the future, we show the full capacity of Banja Luka, as well as of all our other local communities”, said the President of the Republic.

The President Cvijanović wished Banja Luka an accelerated development, to continue where it left off, not to miss any chances or opportunities, because, as she stated, citizens do not have time to wait or tolerate something like that.

“This is the day of our gathering, the day when we all vow to do everything in our power to make our Banja Luka and our Republic of Srpska successful, to live in peace and stability, to fulfill our obligations in accordance with the needs of our inhabitants”, the President of Srpska emphasized.

The President of the Republic of Srpska congratulated on the Day of the City of Banja Luka to the leadership of Banja Luka, as well as to all citizens.
