The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović has met today in Belgrade with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nikola Selaković.

During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on the current political situation in the region, as well as the current global processes and their implications.

It was stated at the meeting that relations between Serbia and the Republic of Srpska were developing dynamically and continuously, and that there was a high level of cooperation in all spheres, including the implementation of joint strategic projects, such as the Buk Bijela Hydro Power Plant, the Belgrade – Banja Luka Highway and the Trebinje airport.

It was pointed out on this occasion that the preservation of peace and regional stability, as well as stronger economic integration of the Western Balkans, were common interests of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska.
